Flying Leap is currently fundraising for The Garden, a radically inclusive, interactive performance for very young children, exploring nature and the life cycle with their families in public green spaces and public housing courtyards.
In The Garden, families experience the life cycle through all five senses – through movement theater, poetic text in multiple languages, and interactive play – seated in the grass beneath the open sky in their local public park, lawn, or greenspace.
With support from the New Victory Theater, New York State Council on the Arts, and our partners, we’ve already raised $100,000 – over 60% funded.
Your gift can close our funding gap and guarantee performances for families from 10 housing developments across all 5 boroughs.

Flying Leap Productions empowers families to leap across boundaries together and towards each other, into a more liberated world where kids own their agency to ask challenging questions and take action, and where adults have the tools to navigate tough topics alongside them.
…and meets families where they are.
Our radically accessible work takes place outside traditional theaters, so families can enjoy quality live performance in their own neighborhood no matter where they live or how much money they make. We make theater that actively includes families with disabilities, neurodivergence, immigrant families, multilingual families, and more.

Your donation is tax-deductible. Flying Leap Productions (Flying Leap LLC) is a non-profit arts organization, meaning we will send you a tax donation receipt. You can contribute online here or to donate via a check, email jess@flying-leap.com.
The majority of donated funds go directly to programming. We work with community partners and social service organizations to bring our programs directly to underserved communities outside the traditional theater ecosystem, at low or no cost to families. Your donation helps us keep tickets affordable.
We pay artists living wages. We don’t buy into the “starving artist” narrative. We currently meet W.A.G.E. standards (wageforwork.com) and pay all artists the living wage for their area (livingwage.mit.edu). Your donation will help us keep our highly skilled artists employed.
